Syrah Resources’ non-executive director Stefano Giorgini has resigned citing personal reasons.

“Stefano Giorgini has made a significant contribution to the Company in his time as a director, including his work as chair of the audit committee and it is with regret that we accept his resignation,” said Jim Askew, Chairman of Syrah Board.

Syrah has immediately commenced a search for an additional non-executive director.

In the interim, Sam Riggall has agreed to take on the role of audit committee chair.

Meanwhile Lisa Bahash, who recently joined the Syrah Board, has been appointed to the remuneration, nomination and governance committee.

Syrah are developers of Balama Project situated in the Cabo Delgado province of northern Mozambique, 200km west of the port town of Pemba.
