The Maputo-KaTembe bridge will be closed to traffic from 2200hrs on 13 May until 0400hrs on 14 May for scheduled maintenance.

According to the National Roads Administration (ANE), the closure allows for preventive work on the support structure, including the localised lifting of the deck slab. Technical teams have already started marking monitoring points in preparation.
