The Mozambique Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition (MMEC) will return to the Joaquim Chissano International Conference Centre, next year.

 

Slated for May 2026, the exhibition’s agenda is lined up with industry experts tackling issues salient to growing and maintaining thriving mining and energy and related sectors. 

Over 600 participants from over 25 countries are expected to make crucial and lasting connections.

The event will be held under the theme: ‘Mozambique open for business; Unlocking natural resources for industrialisation diversification and inclusive growth.’ In addition, the high-level networking will engage over 600 industry leaders, including government officials, international experts, and key decision-makers from 25+ countries.

 

Organisers said the highlights of the event will be expert-led discussions, learning from 75 expert speakers through 10 in-depth panel sessions covering the most pressing issues in the mining and energy sectors.

 

The exclusive insights include gaining firsthand knowledge from keynote speakers representing top-tier international organisations and discover the latest trends and opportunities in Mozambique’s thriving mining and energy sectors, and how you can be a part of its growth.

 

Some of the technocrats to participate at the event include ministers and senior regulators, national oil companies, international and national oil and gas operators, LNG project developers and gas-to-power IPPs, offshore and onshore oil and gas service companies, EPCs and marine logistics providers, pipeline, midstream and downstream gas developers and power utilities and grid operators.
